Students have flocked to Paul Mitchell The School Gastonia since its opening in 1995. Our beauty school has established itself as an industry leader over the course of the last couple of decades, giving our Future Professionals the advantage of a well-respected institution. Our illustrious past, successful present, and fabulous future are the reasons why so many choose to come to our school for their education, from all around western North Carolina. The majority of our students hail from in and surrounding Gastonia, including Bessemer City, Rock Hill, Cherryville, Gaffney, Hickory, and Belmont.
Our beauty school is located in a completely modernized, 14,000-square-foot facility in the Watertower Shopping Center in Central Gastonia. Our standalone building offers ample parking, guest privacy, and course concentration, without the cacophony of retail. Once operating as a movie theater, our spacious school now maintains an undeniable feel of warmth and hominess.
At Paul Mitchell The School Gastonia, our beauty school’s staff is as experienced as they come, with combined experience of over 260 years. Their number-one priority is your future, and they use all of their years of experience to ensure it is a bright one. Proof of our care and expertise can be found in the special experiences of our graduates and the nominations and awards honorably received by our school. Recent awards include Paul Mitchell Schools’ awards for Excellence in Culture, Excellence in Sales, and Excellence in Operations Leadership.
Our beauty school has also garnered an enormous amount of press for our Future Professionals, as they were able to fill their portfolios with the hair and makeup work they did for the cast of The Hunger Games, working on-set and behind the scenes. Their work included all of the bright, futuristic wigs seen in the movie, and the braids seen in the opening ceremonies.
